| What you are about to read is a research paper I did while attending University in New York. Having been born and raised in Ireland I never really cared to know about the history of the troubles, all I wanted to know was which side I was fighting on. When I moved to the United States to go to University I had some time to reflect on my childhood, what I was doing and why. I also had some time to look back and realize how much I loved my country.
